This is only a prediction, but I’m predicting that the Amazon Fire…err…Amazon (AMZN) Beat Quarterly Earnings for Q4 2011. Well, I’ll probably regret this trade (geez that’s a great way to trade isn’t it?), but I dipped into the TVIX (@ 17.75) this afternoon. The SPY and QQQ looked like shit for most of the day, and I’ve been working on a little strategy with judging market sentiment. We’ll see how this trade pans out, and if it works for me I’ll look to use the strategy a little more often. Well, clearly I’m rusty as hell since being back in the stock trading pits. My second trade since being back, position in EGHT, is still in play and fortunately for me it’s NOT doing anything! I hopped into EGHT without really thinking about it. I saw it moving, I saw the massive increase in volume and I jumped in. Well, what did I expect..to knock it out of the park? I would’ve settled for not losing money, but I guess we don’t always get what we want. I added ZNGA on what I thought was going to be a continuation of it’s push off of a base, but it was just topping out in the short term. I’ll keep an eye on it.
